Home Fire Safety Check

As part of our aim to eliminate fire deaths and injuries and reduce domestic fires, Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service offer Home Fire Safety Advice and carry out Home Fire Safety Checks.

Home Fire Safety Checks or advice are available by request to residents of Suffolk and are completely free of charge.

o We will provide and install FREE 10-year smoke alarms where necessary.
o Give life saving advice in the event of a fire in your home
o Explain how to make a fire escape plan for you and your family.
o Give practical advice on identifying fire hazards in the home.

All Home Fire Safety Checks are carried out by Fire Officers from Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service who will show identification.
